Enterprise Server Architecture & Components
On this page, I am tracking my notes regarding bare-metal hardware layouts, processing configurations, and how components interact under heavy computing loads.
My System Component Breakdown
One of my main goals this semester is learning how to choose the right hardware parts for enterprise systems. For instance, I've been studying how high-core-count processors manage heavy multitasking, and how multi-channel DDR5 ECC memory automatically detects data corruption to keep systems stable. I am also exploring NVMe solid-state storage arrays to see how rapidly they can read and write data when a database is flooded with search queries.
